Just checked my grades and it is now official! I have graduated from DigiPen with my bachelors in Computer Science! Or Real-Time Interactive Simulation (RTIS), if you want the useless name for it.
I also have just gotten my graphics engine, Gleam, into a state where things are actually appearing on the screen. Here’s a screenshot of my first test!
I just have to clean a few things up and fix/implement some things on the OpenGL side and I’ll be off to a very good start.
I also had a second session of motocross with Eric Waunch. Like last time, it was exhilarating. Practiced my cornering and was starting to get some decent air off some of the hills. I seriously want to go again next week, but that’s a lot of money in a short time span. I checked out some of the dirt bikes over at Cycle Barn in Marysville when I picked my bike up from service. Looking at saving up for a Kawasaki KX 250F. I’ll have to go back and check out more when I’m closer to buying though.
Short post today, just wanted to share some exciting things that are going on. Until next time.
OpenGL side is now up and running. I now have a truly cross-platform API! I’m happy with the current state of Gleam. Now that a lot of the technical infrastructure is finished, I get to work on more logical architecture.
